Xi Zeta Chapter

Rush Xi Zeta!
A fraternity with a twist.

Interested in joining Alpha Phi Omega?

We're currently holding our Fall Rush! This is a great chance for interested students to meet our brothers and have some fun, before the quarter gets too busy.

ANY STUDENT is eligible to join APO. We are a service-oriented co-ed fraternity with our roots in the ideals of Scouting. We are also the largest collegiate fraternity in the United States, with over 350 chapters, 17,000 active student members, and an alumni network of over 350,000.

Xi Zeta Chapter at RIT was established in 1963 and is one of several chapters in our local area, including the University of Rochester, SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Brockport, SUNY Fredonia, Alfred University, and the University of Buffalo. Because of our large network, being a brother provides some great opportunities to get off-campus and try new things.

We'll be starting our Rush events during Week 3, and here is a schedule of what we have planned:

Wednesday 9/16: Come play minigolf with APO at The Clubhouse! Admission and rides are provided; we'll be leaving from the Gracie's lobby at 7:30PM. (There is a chance of rain; if it is raining, we will be going bowling at Bowl-a-Roll instead. Times will remain the same, and the game will still be free.)

Friday 9/18: Join us in the field behind Nathaniel Rochester Hall for an afternoon of fun; we'll be playing some frisbee, football, volleyball and more. All are welcome, 3:30PM-6PM.

*** This has been a change from our original plan - we'll be in the field behind the dorms (with the volleyball courts), not the field behind Gracie's. Please meet us there. ***

Saturday 9/19: Take a trip with us to Mendon Ponds Park! We'll be having a barbecue, and spending the afternoon enjoying the outdoors, away from RIT's bricks. Please RSVP so that we know how many to cook for. We'll be leaving from the Gracie's lobby at Noon.

Monday 9/21: Come hang out with our brothers at University Commons Bldg. 330; we'll be having a fire in our barbecue pit, a projector set up for movies and maybe even Rock Band, and, of course, s'mores. 8PM, rides are available if you would like one (just send us an email).

The best way to stay in touch is by sending us an email - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it - we will keep you updated on chapter events and developments, and would love to provide you with more info about our chapter. Please RSVP for our events if you can, and don't hesitate to email us if you have any questions.

If you need an interpreter, please request one through NTID in advance.

We hope to see you all at our events!
